Nutty Duchess Tea Room can host any of your private event needs from birthday parties to reunions, church functions, wedding showers, baby showers or any special event. We would be honored to help you celebrate!

We are flexible with hours when closing the tea room for your private event. We are open every day except Monday.

Regular operating hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm. Tues thru Sat. Sun. 11:00am to 2:00pm. Last seating one hour before closing. We offer much flexibility in scheduling for day and evening events!!

Event/Party information:
Allotted time for event is up three hours.
Tea room can comfortably hold up to 40 guest.
To close tea room during operating hours Tuesday through Friday there is a minimum of 25 guest.
To close tea room Saturday during operating hours there is a minimum of 40 guest.
To close tea room Sunday during operating hours there is a minimum of 20 guest.
To reserve your event after regular operating hours there is a minimum of 20 guest.

Event/Party Policies:
Booking your event requires a non-refundable $100.00 deposit.
If a cancellation is necessary it will be accepted without penalty one month prior to scheduled event. (Minus $100.00 deposit.)

Packages & Pricing per guest:
1) Standard Royal Tea Package:
** $25.00 ** plus tax & 20% gratuity per guest. (Gratuity in cash is always appreciated.)
Event begins with beverage service, tea/coffee, garden salad, then the presentation of our Royal Tea” which consist of assorted tea sandwiches/quiche & fruit garnish, assorted mini desserts/petit fours, scones topped with preserves and Devonshire--all displayed beautifully with doilies/ served on tiers.

2) Grand Royal Tea Package:
** $28.00** plus tax & 20% gratuity per guest.
All the goodies of our standard package above with the inclusion of soup served in fancy tea cups!
Additional information:
We offer party favors such as tea cups tied in pretty bows. Patterns are eclectic just like our tea room. Approximately $15.00 each depending on chosen styles.
We also offer loose tea by the ounce.
Always, exciting gifts to choose from……
Also if you need to make things simple and want us to order a cake for you-we can do that! There are some great bakeries here in Collingswood!
As far as what you may & may not bring to tea room:
You may bring your own cake/ favors and (to go packaging) for each guest.
You may bring alcoholic beverages such as wine, champagne toast, etc., but the staff will not be able to serve guests.
We will however, provide the china and glassware!
Collingswood is a dry town so we are not permitted to handle such beverages.

Also, we will accommodate your event color scheme by coordinating cloth napkins at each setting.
We will also provide a gift/champagne or cake table if requested.
We cannot accommodate profession photographers or re-arranging (moving) of tables.
According to fire codes, tables cannot be moved once set up for event. If you need adjustments in seating please allow event planner to make any changes if permitable.
If children are attending event they must be accompanied by an adult in the tearoom and gift shop. Due to insurance regulations and the nature of our delicate products.

Decoration Policy:
No feathers, boas, glitter, paints arts and crafts are permitted.
No decoration which compromise the integrity of tearoom are permitted such as nails, tacks, glue, tape etc. that will ruin paint on walls or furniture.

Please feel free to adorn tables with special centerpieces. Also, framed or displayed photos around the tearoom are welcome. To make sure decorations are suitable please get approved prior to event.
We want to make this a unique and memorable event for you and your guest so if we can do it-we will!!
